Rocky Mountain Cancer Centers, Colorado's largest and most comprehensive provider of cancer care has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for hospital rounding in our SE Division. SE Division has coverage in Littleton, Aurora, Englewood and Centennial.

As a member of The US Oncology Network, one of the nation's largest community-based cancer treatment and research networks, RMCC participates in leading-edge clinical trials through US Oncology research, which has helped develop more than 100 FDA-approved cancer therapies.

RMCC is seeking an experienced full-time NP or PA to round in multiple hospitals located in the Aurora, Centennial, Englewood and Littleton areas to perform initial consultation visits with new patients. The job role will include performing pertinent patient examinations and clinical evaluations, managing clinical care, ordering and reviewing diagnostic studies, ordering and monitoring medications, and participating in the short-term and long-term planning of patient care along with the physician team.

Salary Range: $100,000-$135,000.00.

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certification, etc.

The salary analysis considers relevant experience, education, and certifications as compared to others doing substantially similar work. Our Advanced Practice Practitioners receive an institutional membership to APSHO and are eligible for up to five days off and up to $2,500.00 for continuing education each calendar year.

Nurse Practitioner Masters of Science in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited nursing school and successful completion of a Nurse Practitioner program.

This position typically requires a minimum of one year of experience as a practicing Nurse Practitioner and 3-5 years in either in-patient or ambulatory oncology setting.

RN state licensure and current registration with the State Board of Nursing in practicing state. Current state licensure as a Nurse Practitioner.

AOCNP preferred.

Current basic life support (BLS)/CPR certification required.

OR

Physician Assistant Successful completion of an accredited Physician Assistant program. Current NCCPA (National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants) certification.

This position requires at least one year of experience in either a critical care environment, internal medicine, or oncology. Current state license as a Physician Assistant in practicing state.

Current basic life support (BLS)/CPR certification required.
