PURPOSEA AND SCOPE
This position is responsible for planning and scheduling due dates for purchased and manufactured components/assemblies.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESinclude the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Work with production supervisors, applications, and CSR's to establish a final assembly schedule that will support our customers needs and maximize production efficiency.

Schedules and expedites the delivery of purchased materials to support future and current production schedule.

Work with special-order engineering to provide correct prints, bills of materials and lead times to production and purchasing personnel.

Manage inventory levels utilizing MRP.

Work with Supply Chain Management to maintain ongoing relationship with assigned suppliers to monitor and improve supplier performance. Define corrective action with suppliers as needed to resolve short-term performance issues.

Resolves shipping and receiving problems to ensure prompt and accurate inventory transactions.

Entering of cycle counts and other inventory adjustments in a timely fashion.

Communicate errors or process breakdowns in real time and coordinates efforts to resolve issues with appropriate personnel.

Maintain regular communication with purchasing, planning, engineering, and manufacturing to ensure inventory processes are followed and inconsistencies are identified.

Assists and drives continuous improvement initiatives.

QUALIFICATIONS
This individual will need to be proficient within Microsoft Office Suite. Experience in AS400 as well as manufacturing/commodity knowledge will be helpful.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations

REASONING ABILITY
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Ability to make decisions and solve problems using sound reasoning and judgment. Collect and analyze data and information across resources and individuals to fully understand a problem. Proactively anticipate needs and prioritize action steps.
